Picked up this 98 tahoe 2-door Sport (4x4) this week. Bought it from a Conroe FireFighter who took very good care of it. Runs Strong and smooth.

This is an around-town cruiser/light work truck for the moment. it came with a rear spoiler, but i'm not sure if that will get mounted. I dont' plan to do anything "fancy" here. The objective is for any modification to be functional and serve a specific purpose.

Mod list includes:

Performance
- Electric Fan conversion
- Remove restrictor plate on throttle body
- Cold air intake
- Borla exhaust

Cosmetic:
- Grille/brush guard
- Billet Grille
- Front bug guard
- Custom machine-face alloy wheels
- tail light guards
- Custom split tip exhaust tip
- Front seats replaced or re-covered

Electrical/lighting
- HID projector headlights
- LED marker/turn signal conversion
- LED array tail lights
- Projector Foglights
- KC daylighters (mounted on grille guard)
- CB radio with ext mounted antenna

They're all over here in texas. Check craigslist and ebay and you might find one near you too.

Very. Whole truck is very clean for it's age. Making it very hard for me to accept that it's a 98. biglaugh.gif

most of it was painted with a rattle can. Thought we could fix it up and sell it, but it turned out to be more than we thought.

I hate subs but I love the older 2doors, Plus That's the cleanest one I've seen man, The only tad bit of wear that I see is on the leatherand it still looks good . I can't believe how clean the engine looks. Good buy icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

not a fan of the 2door Tahoe's.
Bag it, body drop it.
And convert those ugly barn door rears.
Other than that, good snag.

Very nice. Like the upgrades. I have a 98 LS that I have put cold air kit, 20's with 275/45s.
Want to drop it though.
What do you think?

yea, it's a weak-looking POS. It's since been replaced with a frame-mounted MUCH stronger one. Plus i added off-road HID and Hybrid Projector foglights.
