Hey everyone,

First off, love the resources here! You guys do great work! I'm honored to learn from all of you.

Here's my (minimal) set-up. I wish to install (3) bright and tiny pre-wired surface mount LED's in the footwells/console of my car. I plan to run them through a dash toggle, connected to my cabin fusebox. I have an open accessory slot and I plan to use an "add a fuse" in that open slot.

Here's my questions:

1. First, can anyone suggest a wiring diagram to run them in parallel from the toggle? Because it's such a low draw, they're all pre-wired with resisters to 12V, so I'm not really sure how that affects how I wire them.

2. Regarding the fuse, is it safe to fuse them on a 2 Amp ATC? Or should I do a 1 Amp inline mini?

I'm probably over complicating all of this, but I don't trust electricity and I'm not too keen on a burning vehicle. Help is appreciated!

Cheers.

Here's a nice diagram I made for you:

Or if you are going to use a lighted switch, simply ground the third wire:

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll post some pics after the install.
