is it possible to install one of DDM HID kits on my 04 explorer with out any mods? Id like to use just the stock lenses?

*also like to install the HID fog kit to match.

Has any1 done an HID on the 02-05 explores ? and do u have pics of b4 and after.

Ohh Noo here we go again .....

You SHOULD buy proper projector style headlights or have projectors retrofitted into the stock housings ...

Search on this or any other forum ... I'm sure certain people will say you can just install them in the stock housings

Ill probably get a bunch of **** for this but just do whatever looks good to you. thats what I did and it's been fine so far. HID kit in reflectors in my Buick and no tickets or anything. Just do it, DDM has 35 watt kits for $25 and 55 Watt kits for 35 before shipping. Go for it..

thanks, my trucks a company truck, there for I cant replace the lenses. but can toss a HID kit in.

-for the fog lights it list's 9145 bulb, but trying to order from DDM they dont list that type of bulb? Ie been trying to call CS, but im on east coast, and havent been able to reach a person to confirm this.

no, see with SUV's i HATE them in stock housing, because they sit a good amount higher than car, and that WILL bliind you. and its EASY to find explorer projector housing, plus, it'll look alot better than stock housings.

He can't change the housings because its a company vehicle.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm well. do they check if its been modded often. like if anything, get projector fogs to replace the stock fogs then just run those HIDs then the head lights regular bulbs?
