Just a thought, Might look cool if you get it all muddy.. clean the bars off underneath and get some pics when the suns going down behind you.... dark enough to see the lights but light enough to see the truck is covered in mud but still glowing.. Ive thought about this shot before icon_smile.gif

I swear I posted this a few days ago.

Calendars fell though. Needed more diversity (boats, RC cars, powerwheels, etc.)

Thanks to everyone who submitted photos!

Who said you needed diversity? WTF is this, a 'politically correct' calendar?

No, its a calendar that your customers want you to put on to spot light YOUR products on THEIR car, truck, boat, whatever.

****, I put on a calendar for three years now with just first generation rx7s.

Did you have enough submissions?

I gotta agree with both the above posts.

Why the "need" for diversity?

I mentioned we were looking for unique entries. I can't seem to find the post now in this thread, so I could be dreaming.

We had 15 people send in photos this year. The main issue was there just wasn't enough decent photos. Don't get me wrong, however, everyone submitted neat photos of their car, but the quality wasn't there. Sorry if that is rude.

I know it's 'lame' for us to hold back, but last year we were giving away the calendars. It's not all about making money, but the price was 'too high' for complaining people. I know it's an advertising tool, but with everything said above, it wouldn't have sold.

I think that you coming out and saying the quality wasn't there is more acceptable than your first mention of needing more diversity. Yes, it may be a little rude, but if that's the reason why it didn't make then thats fine.

I'm gonna have to deduct 1 point from the Oznium customer service awesomeness poll for not giving us a straight answer the first time icon_biggrin.gif

Hmm. Well, I was being honest and straight the first time. But you guys pressed the issue, and I expanded my answer.

10 points for Gryffindor.

Yes, you may have been honest the first time, in saying you wanted more diversity, but originally, there was no mention of this want/need for diversity. I'm not quite sure how quality expands on diversity, as them are 2 completely different things, but thats a discussion for another time and place.

Based off the calendar that was issued a few years ago, I think that most all of us assumed that this would be yet another car calendar, especially seeing as how I don't recall seeing a real mention of the need/want for diversity.

For whatever its worth, why not go ahead an start a new thread for 2012, that way all those whom visit the forum between now and the end of 2011 think about sending in pictures. Also, why not something on the front page of oznium.com asking for submissions?

Why thank you! I will be posting several new pictures in the coming month or 2 as I finish up my interior work and possibly start doing more with the outside of the car, I believe a full on photo shoot will be in order! but I will have to order some more stuff to finish out my interior the way I want it

Please elaborate; none of the pictures i submitted had cars in them; i dont think. They were all bike and most didnt have glow in them.

when you say the shots werent decent do you mean the photography was bad (in which case show a calendar you want to copy because you obviously have a specific idea in your head) or do you mean the image quality was bad referencing the image size?

Everyone, just **** give up on the calendars. The decision has been made and it's going to be too late to get anything of quality made by the beginning of the year
