My dad is on the fire department and is at a station with an aerial platform truck. He saw these pictures on the internet of another truck and asked me to find out which LED strips would be best suited for the application, any help would be appreciated.

We used These https://www.oznium.com/flexible-led-strips/led-flex-strips to wrap on the top and mounted two 0ne watt floods on either side

Interestingly we've used a custom length 10 foot blue strip for fire truck ladders. Would put 3 x 10 foot back to back for a full 30 foot glow up the ladder. Was this product: https://www.oznium.com/flexible-led-strips/led-flex-strips

But I may also suggest blue of this one: https://www.oznium.com/linear-lights/smd-bar
(rigid, so a bit more durable)

Or maybe this one: https://www.oznium.com/flexible-led-strips/thin-waterproof-ribbon

That's actually pretty cool idea. They need to have glow in fire trucks for parades and such!

We used it for spotting placement when placing the ladder , Also for safety to be able to see the ladder in low light smoke conditions. The One watters mounted on the side really helped see it from the sides
