This thing is awesome. I got a RGB one and it is amazing. It will easily light up any room.

I am going to be buying another so that I can use it for my Christmas and Halloween lights.

Cool, thank you for the initial photos and feedback. I was also blown away the first time I saw this beast.

- Will look into the frosted lense. Great idea.
- I also want to change the screw to a more professional looking Torx head

- Wanna do a simple video review of this?

Remember, this thing unfortunately isn't waterproof yet, so be sure to keep it in a dry location. I actually submerged one for a few hours. Water quickly filled it up, but the LED still worked. Of course thats not suitable as a long term solution since it'd corrode inside.

Frosted lens is definitely necessary. Those color artifacts are pretty bad.

Sweet product thought!

You could place it where it is hidden and then have it shine on the underside of the hood. That would be a pretty cool idea.

Seems overkill for engine bays... This is meant to light up the side of a house or something.

I do not know if it is common positive or common negative. I was hoping that Phil could enlighten us on this.

Um, don't you need to know that in order to turn it on? Or does it have its own stand-alone controller?

RGB is also a 2-wire hookup, so its got a built-in controller inside the unit, and a handheld IR remote.

I really like the price and power of this product. I don't like how much the colors separate (rainbow), doesn't make white really look white at all.

Most RGB products don't produce a true white, but I agree this one is worse. So then for white, just get a separate single-color white one. Appreciate all the feedback guys.
