Whats up everyone.

A buddy of mine is having issues. He replaced his fuel pump but stupidly didn't wire it back to the relay... as in he wired it to the cigarette lighter... >.<

he wants a remote start from my fathaaa.... it won't work until this gets fixed so i'm going to help him.

i've been trying to look stuff up for a few days and i'm not finding what i need...

what i'm looking for is the diagram that I'm able to use.

does anyone have access to diagrams of the sort? or have knowledge on what the hell to do.

I guess the OBVIOUS question is why ?
If there was a problem with the relay/wires then you'd need to troubleshoot , have you tried connecting it up to the old wires and see if it runs ?

venge,

He came to me asking for a remote start. He currently has a viper system, wants it out so my dad can put a code alarm in... minus the remote start on who did it or from where from..

The issue he was having with the viper, his fuel pump does not turn on because it is wired to the cigarette lighter which only turns on when the key is in ignition *similar to mine, where it only works when the key is physically in the ignition.

So I was going to help him re-wire it, but i don't know where to find the stock relay for the fuel pump ANDD how it SHOULD be wired so it works as if it came from the factory.

next question.. should I just relay this fuel pump to ignition.. so when the ignition turns on, the fuel pump starts... when the ignition is off, the fuel pump stops...?

The quick easy way is to add a fuse in the fuse panel that comes on when in run position (heater ect) run that to the fuel pump
