Guys I really really want halo light on my civic it would look so sick but I cant figure out which ones are legal. I have found some on carid.com and they say in the description that they are completely legal but in the pic they are obviously blue. Please help me. Im looking to spend about 200. I live in Louisiana so they have to be legal here. Also is it even legal to change the stock lights? someone told me any exterior changes were illegal.

legality would depend on your area..considering your main bulbs would still be white (unless you change them) the halos probably wouldn't get you in too much trouble. IMO though, halos are over. ironman leds ftw

Okay... here is what's going on.

You can change your stock headlights.. there is NO issue with that what so ever.... now with the color.. that color is cool white. NOT blue. Even though the picture may look blue, it is cool white.

You WOULD be in the clear.... not any BLUE or RED in the front of a vehicle; this is a HUGE penalty. I know for Wisconsin, it is a felony as it impersonates a police officer. By you, I don't know and I'd ask lightly... like talk up a casual conversation about the awesome lights on squad cars then peak around asking the cop. Just talk the norm with him. He'll tell you... just don't go up to a cop who looks like he's busy and ask.

These headlights are in the clear. I'm not a lawyer, nor a police officer... but dealing with the cops as much as i do "

... Just from what I deal with all the time... again, you're in the clear.

I'd think that you could make them and install them inside the headlights yourself

two things about that. It would look so bad because I fail at custom made things. Second I dont have money time or patience to do so but thank you for the suggestion.
