I've had mixed results with ddm tuning, so I may avoid that.

Venge get me a discount code to the HID extra place I'll try it out.

Coupon code: "fspecial-m" ($15.00 off per HID kit)
Coupon code: %u201Ctenpercentoff-m%u201D (10% off %u2013 bulbs, ballasts, relay)
Use the above coupon code when checking out to receive the special offer I'm offering to all Dodgeforum.com members.
Please note, the coupon code is only valid for one HID kit per transaction. For 2 HID kit orders you'll require to process each HID kit as a single order in order to receive discount on all orders.

Need a quick opinion guys. A guy I know is selling an Infinity 7541a 4 channel amp for $30. I'm thinking about buying it to power the rest of my speakers, door & rear deck. What you guys think, worth it or no?

I start by a warm up 5 minute jog then it's core and arms and leg work outs... i dunno. I'm more lean already. cool to see results faster sucks i keep losing weight.

Stop with the cardio and do more weights, etc. You gotta build the muscle and doing the cardio isn't gonna help. I would also suggest doing less reps of heavier weights.

Hell, just do body weight stuff, such as push-ups, pullups, squats, planks.

If I hadn't just spent $400+ on a sub, I would totally drop $400 on a retrofit for the 240. Shoulda asked me a week ago!

At 25% off, none of them would be above $400. The one for my car is $225 after discount. Some are cheaper. DO EEEET.

need legal advice... and maybe opinion

Saturday into Sunday was daylights savings time where our time jumps 1 hour FORWARD.

I was scheduled at my AE job from 10pm(sat) - 3am(sun). Well this is how it works at 1:59am sunday, the next minute is 3am Sunday.

I worked until 3:30am Sunday morning and told the two managers (one being store, one being assistant) that I had to leave and I stayed 30 minutes after. Their response was "it's technically 2:30am so you have to stay another hour at least." Now, I understand their point, however they made a mistake on their schedule where it's not my problem, it's there (same thing applies to my job).

I ended up leaving at 3:30am anyways. Lets say they weren't happy. I get a call this morning saying I'm fired for leaving 'early.' Now my thing, my job is at will so they can let me go at anytime I understand, however, there has to be enough paperwork to back that up. The only paperwork they have on my is I left 30 minutes AFTER my scheduled time period. I call them to ask for their HR number and I was told that it was confidential and they cannot give the information out.

So I ask you all, am I entitled to something here? Being fired for working 30 minutes past my scheduled shift and not being given information about Human Resources?

Besides that ****, who the hell is ready for this weekend!?? Obviously I am!

Went back and looked, its $247.50 for mine (with 25% discount), I'll toss the idea around with the girlyfriend. What is the timeline on this?

Look at the site and do the math. icon_smile.gif Probably nothing specifically for a Talon -- have to retrofit yourself.

You've got at least a week. Coupon code is private now to ~25 people, but on Monday I'm making it public.

jmoddes wrote:

If you ever start a forum post with the words "need legal advice", the only answer is call a lawyer. Don't ever take the words of random people on the internet over an actual professional lawyer.

That said, I'd be royally **** off after being fired for that, because it's a load of crap. After the time change, it's 3AM. There is no "technically 2:30am" nonsense. That's the complete opposite of the meaning of "technically". Saying that their HR department info is confidential is also BS. Call someone higher up if you have to, talk to a lawyer if it's still serious after that.

(Frankly, I would just ***** at anyone higher up that listens, maybe get a severance package out of it if they offer, and run the hell away from retail.)

Well, the V2 underbody is going to officially be retired as a UB after today. Had a side tube get ripped off because of running over a tire I couldn't miss in the road, went back to pick up the tube and the supposedly indestructible tube was busted.

Oh well, it had its run. Talked to jdusty and I think we may turn whats left and working into a nice interior setup.

Well, I actually had a 6" tube support the weight of my car once when it fell and positioned itself between the tire and the fender well.

Like I said, no real loss. I've kind of fallen out of "love" with the whole glow world, or at least as much as I used to be in love with it. I'm gonna keep all the other lights I have and work on doing something with the remaining V2 stuffs.

It was the outer tube that broke. I guess I could look into repair using the granger idea, but I'm not sure this kit it worth the extra headache. Its been just way too many problems.

I may take some time off from the underglow world and wait until I get save up some money and then just do a really good seamless style underglow.

I wish that the 6 foot LED strips that were a customer return were marked down to like $10 or even $15 each. I could use about 8 of them on 2 vehicles. And I know someone else that could use about 4. Plus they would sell out of them in a hurry. Just an idea.

At least today is Friday and not Monday.

Any one doing anything interesting this weekend or even the upcoming week?

I'm not sure if I feel old or "baller" but I just opened up an IRA and bought 10,000 shares of a particular stock.

Also, I got the deck installed, radar detector hard wired, and subs and amp installed. I'm going to create some sort of trim for the equipment in the trunk to finish it off once it gets warm.

Projector retrofit supplies ordered. Got the lights I need for my bike and my headlights ready, just waiting for warmer weather. Might get my hands on some extra stuff for the car while I'm at it -- it could finally use a little LED action after five years, lol.

On a similar note, my car is paid off next month. First time since 2003 I will be car loan free (although I do still have a bike loan, too, hehe).

I'll be curious to see how much my credit changes. I still have more CC debt than I'd prefer, though. So looking forward to taking the car money and making that go down a lot faster than it does already.

Do not dive into more debt than you can afford. Main thing is to plan for things the best you can and have a way of getting them paid instead of just jumping in and having to pay out the nose for lots of things all at once.

I agree with you 100% I got to visit the beach yesterday and it was awesome. Temps around 70. Drove home and today's high is like 48. icon_sad.gif

It's 37 here right now, so no sympathy from me.

HA! "you'll acclimate to it" you said. I will never live further north than what I am right now...

I consider this forecast "cold"

You do get used to it. Doesn't mean you like it, lol.

I love winter, just wish it was shorter.

Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels.

Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them cracks and splinters. That is the "loser," and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round.

I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theater of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world.

Occasionally I will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointier, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength. In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment.

When I reach the end of the pack, I am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd. Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in an envelope and send it to M&M Mars, A Division of Mars, Inc., Hackettstown, NJ 17840-1503 U.S.A., along with a 3x5 card reading, "Please use this M&M for breeding purposes."

This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 1/2 pound bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this "grant money." I have set aside the weekend for a grand tournament. From a field of hundreds, we will discover the True Champion.

There can be only one.
