Bent three wheels this morning due to some construction where they had a huge chunk of road cut out and not properly marked. Called ODOT, they said call the city, city said call the construction company. I quit. It's not worth it.

I had a shop around the corner from work try to straighten the worst one out and it started cracking...I can't catch a break.

Edit: Filed a claim with the city. May get reimbursed. Also, the shop said they will probably all crack if they tried to straighten them. Grreeeat.

They are repaving a section, so they dug up the first layer or whatever. Somehow the small bump that was there all week turned into a huge **** canal.

You've seen my wheels on here before Dan. (unless you missed all the posts...HOW?!) lol.

Hell yeah I hit it hard, 48mph. This thing was completely hidden, no signs, etc. All of the sudden I see the semi trailer in front of me bounce up and I'm like wtf...BOOOOM.

Same wheel after they tried reshaping it with a torch and apparently a **** hammer...idiots.

You can say that again. Turns out, the city inspector drove that road this morning also and hit it pretty hard. Plus there were other complaints. I may have a good chance for some reimbursement.

Today's biggest decision...steelies with chrome tuner lugs, standard lugs, or HUBCAPS...

Chrome Tuner lugs! Do it big!

Hows everyone week been?

I successfully finished my first week at the new job. Didn't have much to do as they just had me getting acquainted with things, but I now have a better idea of what they want me to do and know that a lot of stuff is coming.

Chrome tuners it is! I can barely fit one of my fingers in the back gap now. The front is like one finger with a little wiggle room.

Yessir. "3M DI-NOC Carbon Fiber" (not the gloss version). Used my heat gun and it was pretty easy to install, had some cramped thumbs halfway through and had to fight a few wrinkles on one of the big bends but I took my time and it all came out smooth in the end.

Looks good, I was thinking of using that 3m stuff on the back of my Galaxy S3.

$550.00 more dollars into stereo equipment. Now I just need to get the wood, plexiglass, and hardware to build the box. Then the girlfriends car is complete...for now.
EDIT: For a grand total of...$2356.38, This better sound good! haha

Sheesh, that's some dedicated audio funds right there.

I've got a whole list of things I could do, and not much motivation to do any of them.

- Subaru has a projector retrofit kit waiting to go on, which I would do a bunch of headlight modding/painting at the same time. It also needs wheels/tires and brakes in the near future (money pit).

- Kawasaki has a box of Oznium lights waiting to be installed. I need to find an OEM wiring diagram to see if I can use the stock lap-timer button as the switch (most likely very doable, but accessing the wiring might suck a lot). I'm also waiting for new tires to arrive -- after they're installed, I'll be painting the wheels. Add on some normal stuff like oil change and fluid checks, too.

Thats just for 1 sub and 1 amp. Thank god I didnt do two subs. AND I'm redoing my s10 stereo too. Going from 3 10" subs, to 10 10" subs. *Two of which are free air for midbase in my doors*. That should sound pretty swell as well.

I do miss my audio. I've seen a few fiberglass corner-of-the-trunk boxes specially made for the Legacy go for sale. If I had the extra money I would use it. Once I bought this car, though, it wasn't worth it for me to move my giant sub from the old car into this one. Old man syndrome, I guess!

Painted wheels, new tires, new front sprocket (higher gearing for more low-end power, hoping it'll help me shave a couple tenths at the drag strip, if I actually go this year), and of course, a bunch of LED lighting. Should be done in a week or so (if I don't end up too busy this week).

Also a deep clean, oil change, check the fluids/brakes/whatnot, and stuff like that that isn't really interesting.

Back hurts like hell today

Cleaned out the basement yesterday. Fill a bagster completely. Too much crap. Nice to have an area to work/clean my guns and such. Also cleaning my work bench. Later heading to a friends for whoreshoes(lol) and yardgames and more drinking.

The lumber yards here are mainly for contractors (and they only had up to 3/4"), and the nearest Lowes/Home Depot is over an hour away. And ordering it through this local yard, I get my dads Contractor discount. Since, well, he is a contractor. haha.

Yeah, nice thing about living in a smaller town is that I got 2 sheets of 1" MDF ordered and delivered for $41 bucks. woot.
EDIT: And I called Home Depot, and they wanted $38 for 1 sheet of 3/4" in-house. And wanted an extra $30 if I wanted it cut in half! Wtf?

wonderful day going today boy, lemme tell ya.
1st my incredible, #1 boss of the year nominee, Boss (complete sarcasm) changes my shifts for this entire week, fails to tell me, yet i'm his assistant. SO running an hour behind, I have to rush home, get my work stuff and leave for work. I pull in my driveway doing a little quicker than I should and I mis calculated the actual driveway, I hit the freakin' curb.
So I have this to deal with. and from what I read up and was told, i can't just buy one new tire... so looks like the toys I was about to buy and be INCREDIBLY happy with for all of summer will hold off a little bit. That's what **** me off the most. oh yeah, had a fire in my car last night putting a few things in.... stupid ass shorts **** me off. Small flame i put out with hand to only burn that a little bit. this new car of mine and myself haven't been getting along. if she don't turn her attitude straight, i'll be trading her in. lol

You can buy just one tire. All depends on what your other tires look like.

1. Always disconnect battery when installing electrical.

You can buy just one tire. All depends on what your other tires look like.

1. Always disconnect battery when installing electrical.

Yeah I told him that shops will shave the tire down if necessary. So you can buy one or two tires, just need to make sure that they're similar in diameter when you're all said and done.

What were you hooking up that caught on fire? And what were you hooking up that shorted out so easily?

it was all taken care of.

basically... i have yet to find a fuse for my 'map lights'. Not in the car, nor under the hood, haven't found another fuse panel location yet... i actually thing this is somehow unfused... or a large enough fuse that it didn't blow.

everything was taken care of. just a simple QC slip up

this is what i found when I cut open the soldered end of the strip I had....

Kornholio... I'll be honest. Only do that when it's audio. Rest of the time, I use my multi meter whenever i go into things. Don't cut nor strip before it's metered.

He just got a new job so that and some other stuff are occupying his time at the moment. He is bringing me his headlights so we can figure out how to get them wired up. Then we might be taking off the V2 for good. Don't know about the last part but he has been having problems with the kit.

I will never stay at a total rewards casino in las vegas again. Nothing crazy happened but the stupidity that they call employees is not worth any of my time or money ever again.

Switching to M-life apparently.
