I'm great!

There is some potential that I may be coming to Wisconsin in a couple weeks. Would love to be able to meet the whole WI gang if I get to come up that way.

Every review I've heard on LED bulbs meant for standard headlights is that, while they are a bright LED, they do not provide proper output. So for an aesthetic-only fog light, that might be kind of cool. But if I wanted useful output, I wouldn't go that route.

Now a custom front end swap using new Audi LED headlights, that'd be pretty awesome, lol.

Yes there's a set on Craigslist he tried them as headlights and nowhere near the output of a regular or HID bulb but descent accent lighting for headlights

I figured that they would not be as bright as a proper HID bulb yet. At least they are trying to move in that direction.

I will do so Aken. We still haven't decided on what to do and where to go. Some last minute issues came up with what was originally planned for vacation. The GF wants to just stay around Nashville and be "cheap" but I want to get out of town for a few days.

Plus, if we come up that way, we can stop in Chicago for a day or so too. I love the Chicago and she has never been.

you have no idea the ideas i had for all this.

just didn't want to spend the obnoxious costs some people wanted for a few of these controllers. plus i get its a light show and it's dark... however, i really don't like things looking terrible in the day time.

so it's a bit tougher for me. the subaru is taking forever because i'm seeing a lot of bad areas this car has.

i really like this video though.

Yeah I know. It would be awesome if Oznium put on a glow off somewhere that is centralized for everyone. I would try to go to it if I could. They could also give away lights and stuff as a raffle. Just an idea.

I don't see that happening. Putting on a good car show is hard enough as it is, let alone doing a brand new one in a location you're completely unfamiliar with.

A glow off between the what...4 active members that still have glow on their cars? And are less than 1000 miles from each other?

I'm all for meeting everyone, and seeing some glow. Would be tricky to organize a show for it. Hell, its hard enough trying to plan to get everyone together for the Dells meet.

As much as I have always said I would never own a kia they have stepped up their game 10 fold. The new optimas are sick looking with promising performance. As with most of their cars.

Too bad you are still ugly kevin.

It throws some crazy patterns on the ground on the side. I'm looking forward to seeing it move around and stuff. Well, and actually completing it. I need to fab up some 90 angles to mount LEDs to, so the light can spread a bit more to the bottom.

First night tonight on our brand new top of the line sleep number bed for us! Super excited. Bought a really nice full Egyptian cotton 600 tc sheet set too.

This week comes building my new modern style bed frame, combining that with the book case headboard I ordered(That should be here tomorrow) and repainting the entire room.

I will also be adding some cool touches and modifications to make it "us". Should be a very busy week and weekend but will be SO worth it! Room is going to be a complete transformation.

Best part is drea has no idea what any of my plans are besides her helping me pick out a paint color and sheet set and giving her a basic design of what the bed will be. All the other fun tricks she doesn't know about. Which I will revile when it is done.

I know he's out doing something interesting all the time. I'm friends with him on facebook, so I see updates from time to time. I'm sure there is more than just the online store, that's why I would love for him to come back and give us an update. I understand that he's staying busy, updating and upgrading the company, but he used to be so involved in the site and keeping his "minions" informed, but lately that hasn't been the case.

I almost feel he's found that sweet spot in life where there is a great work / life balance and he's taking full advantage. although we may not be top 10 on his list, come in time and all will be prevailed to us. I keep in touch with phil and i'm sure aken - a longer, closer friend - knows more than I (not a shocker there), but it may just be about that time right now where it is busy time for him with HIS life...

Anyways, hope you all had a good day. I wish you all a better one tomorrow. :)

EDIT:
btw, aken. I sadly check his website probably 5 times a week...lol i go through it all checking to see whats different, seeing if there is anything that I see can be updated and just giving myself a challenge. Idk... i'm still 100% faithful to OZ... i like a lot of products competitors have... just refuse to buy and will wait for phil to carry them if ever. icon_smile.gif

Dude...as much as I love phil. Amazon > than oz now days when it comes to leds. I bought 2 16 foot strips of rgb leds, a power supply, and a wireless remote controller for under 50 shipped for free second day air on amazon.

Explore more of the web.....you will find things lol. I love phil as much as the next guy. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out underglow is where the money is at. He is off to far bigger things. Things not in this country but hey that's for a different thread lol. .

I don't see phil being around much if ever anymore. It because he is busy across seas making bigger **** happen. Its simple business. When **** doesn't sell and there are other things selling you jump ship

Gotta but some new tires this weekend. Weighing my options between Continental or Pirelli.

Currently I have the Continental Extreme Contact and they have been really good tires. The Pirelli are only $2 more per tire based on online prices, but I can get a better rebate, so it would cost me less in the long run.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

i always heard pirelli was a great brand.. but i don't have enough tired experience to really judge. I know i'll be buying pirelli's for the bike when that time comes although my car has the contenental's on it currently.

Sweet. The continentals have been good tires, but I can spend $6 dollars more total and should be able to get a extra $25 rebate versus the Continentals.

I'll call tomorrow to make sure the shop has them before I arrive Saturday morning.

I'm leaving for Cape San Blas and then New Orleans. I feel like the poor version of Phil.
