I'm one of the sticklers about it.

Mainly because everyone that has them around here is driving in a lifted truck, or a slammed honda with the housings pointed to the sky.

You can search through old threads about HID's here and see that I was one of the main opposers as well. Believe me, I wouldn't run them if I was blinding everyone.

I also assumed there would be chatter on the topic so I took some photos and video this morning on my way to work.

Notice how my light never shines into any mirrors, or even into back windows for that matter.

They're 4.95 then you have to pay $5 shipping unless it's dan or aken where i can drop it off.

So far today I:

- Woke up early and showered (an unusual combination on the same day).
- Finished cleaning up the house for visitors later.
- Broke up with a client.
- Wrote some emails.
- Dealt with an appraiser and city water guy.
- Worked.
- Ate junk food.

Will continue to work and eat junk food, probably do some non-work nerd stuff after, hang out with the girlfriend who gets to almost live here while her parents are out of town.

Looking for possible controllers to control 6803 chip RGB strips. Something that can handle 32 feet no problem. I've seen a few here and there through google.. but does anyone have ideas of really good means? I found these and it's what i'm looking for, but alo trying to see what else is out there. I need something more.... well weather proof.

I had a lady come up with a limo.... she wants me to fully install these LEDs. I plan on grabbing as much as I can from Phil, but this stuff requires more than what he offers.

side question... anyone know of a place that sells the BEEFY led strips in RGB?

jordan, getting out of retail will be the best decision you ever made. Surely with your education and skill set you can find something else.

I'm in the same boat trying to get a new job now that I have graduated. I don't particularly like one of the jobs I'm working because it doesn't seem like my boss really "trusts" me. He doesn't really let me use my skill set to its full advantage. Oh well, he and the co-workers will miss me when I'm gone.

Here at work they are talking about a possible layoff that would get rid of a lot of engineers that are not essential. Technically I would be one of them, but we will see how this goes. I have a buddy that is begging me to come to work with him in Chattanooga, and if I get layed off from here I will just drive the other direction to go to work with him.

Okay.. lets be real. Old ass people are in there afraid of change because they can't just change their lightbulb like before... it will cost a **** load to fix/replace, but it's what everyone is going to soon. They talk about BMWs laser headlights which i feel are stupid and will cause serious issues in a few short years that come.

Ummmm, as an audi owner and the one that fixes everything on it....NOTHING is cheap to replace on those cars. The Audi brand is a luxury brand. These cars aren't dodge neons or subis. They need to constantly up the ante to keep up with the competition from BMW and Benz.

You work for a shoes store. Is the company you work for constantly trying to try new and exciting features to one up the competing shoe companies? They sure as hell are.

Yesterday I got around to installing my new amp in my car, moved the old amp from the car to the truck, and installed a behind the seat sub in the truck. Both sound awesome, but I still have some tweaking to do. Maybe I can get to them during this week or I might just wait until this weekend when I work on getting my new power and ground cables installed on the truck.

I just ordered a FI BL 15" sub for my girlfriends 240sx, to run my Rockford Fosgate T1500.1 BDCP amp on. (Around 2100 rms at 1 ohm). So that will be fun, and I'm rebuilding my S10's stereo again, going to do 6 10" subs, off 2,000 rms. With an Ipad 2 in the dash.

You have too many people in the car to do anything in the snow fast. Unless you have a giant open parking lot and can e-brake at like 50 MPH.

We got like 3-4 ish in my area. Plow guy took care of it, thankfully. I don't mind shoveling, and it was relatively light snow, but my driveway is a giant patchwork of ice chunks thanks to previous snows and cars driving on it. Makes it a real PITA to shovel.

Who has a respectable source/brand for some HID's. I'm wanting to say that TRogers told in the last thread where he got his at, but I'm not about to sift through that whole thread to find the answer.

I retrofitted some projectors into my stock fog light housing and have just been running a regular bulb, but I am now ready to upgrade to an HID.

Help Me out guys!

DDMtuning is where I get all of my HID kits, I've had the one in my s10 for like 4 years now, and it still runs great.
