i also, would get one, if it weren't for the fact that i was going to be leaving for the Marine Corps in about 3 months. when i come back on leave for 10 days after boot camp, i plain on stripping my car of its lighting and other mods and then having my dad selling it when i leave again. after that, and when i am able/allowed to have a car, it will most definitely be nothing but ICE. sorry Phil, but i gotta go with the best icon_cool.gif . if all goes well, in about 2-3 years, i will be driving a partially pimped out Hemi Magnum pirate.gif *crosses fingers* you never know though, Phil, maybe by then you'll have something better than ICE out icon_razz.gif and then if that is the case, i'll be getting that instead icon_wink.gif

Cool.... but still does anyone (possibly Phil) know what the price will most likely end up at. I was just curious because he said that it would lower, or at least I thought he did.

Remember...Phil would be the wholesaler...he sets the wholesale price...from there its up to the reseller (Aken) to set his own price...and try to make a profit. icon_biggrin.gif

Boy..something is wrong with that. US should really start making it's own stuff. No import tax and stuff. Oh well, don't want to get on another topic.

I think I may be buying one of these. Hopefully there is some sort of money back guarentee. If I don't like it, I would like to be able to send it back.

Money back guarantee?.... icon_rolleyes.gif

Phil..are you going to have any more FlowLighting products? And if you do, would you have a controller like ICE does and PG so the tubes will change color the same time as the UB kit does? I sure hope so. Some color changing cathodes would be cool.

I can't wait for the 100 color kit either i want that right away. Im going to take my Blaze off then and put it in my room when he get the 100 color kit since i can only have 1 tube fit under my car with out rerouting brake and fuel lines. Im saving my Blaze that way when Flowlighting gets at big as Plasmaglow or Streetglow im going to see the very first prototype kit for a fortune.

Just to clear that pic up its because it was in the grass and i was using a camera that sucks for night pics but since then i have upgraded to a better camera.

Pork you never can tell flowlighting might hit it off. If its not that big then its still some great products for us insiders.

What kind of kit if that celicadude?

Is there anyway other than word of mouth to prove that kit was a prototype?

Does it say prototype on it? If it doesnt then its just as good as any retail kit.

And either way it wont be that much more valuable.

plasmaglow icon_biggrin.gif

the biggest thing needed for a good glow is the position of the ledtubes on your car.

I have who have the same kit and still i'm the one who has the greatest glow .

Also if your car isn't lowered ;) it isn't fair in my eyes , to say that you have a full range of glow . But that's a personal opinion biglaugh.gif

The glow will be more brighter buy not as spread out. The worst thing for glow is GFX, if I put some GFX on my car then no glow would go beyond the GFX.

I was showing this guy i knew from highschool that graduated a year ago the pics of the blaze on my car and the feature in the website and he loves the blaze. This is a big deal to me because he use to hate almost all the stuff i had on my car but he has fallen in love with flowlighting he is planning on making his eclipes into a 9 second car when he gets back from wyoteck and he wants all flowlighting on it. that and his probe that is going to be turned to show soon.

I know but its one less part he needs to get. Just like having whelens is one less light you need to buy for lighting up a car. Ill let you know if he gets all of it done. He is going to wyotech for high performance engine building. so he can do all the work on his own. I think he is intending on doing it as his projects at wyotech but im not sure.

like i keep saying,"If he leaves the kit off, AND looses the 10 lbs. also, then he's saving TWICE the weight." icon_rolleyes.gif when building a 9 second car (being that its an eclipse, i would have to see it to believe it) you think purely about weight. 9 second cars (when purely intended for drag racing) don't have fancy paint jobs, don't have flashy chrome wheels, don't have neon lights, mirrors, REAL glass, windshield wipers, ground effects, window tint, interior panels, carpet, airbags, passenger seats, speakers, headunits, a/c, windshield washer systems, sunroofs, or anything else that can hinder the vehicle from accelerating...

bobby lee you have a couple flaws in your 9 second drag car "not have" theroy 1.fancy paint jobs..... i seen a 6 second twin turbo s-10 with perlecent paint alot of drag cars have fancy paint. 2.interior panels, carpet..... i've seen alot of 9 second drag cars with this..now if u want to go faster than 9 then ya they'd have to junk it. 3.tinted windows... my cousin has a 67 nova that runs 9.15 and it has limo tint 4.REAL glass.... alot of 9 second drag cars have real glass.........like i said with interior if u want to go fast they get rid of it. 5.flashy chrome wheels...... these links are to weld wheels racing wheels
<i dont know those are pretty flashy and chrome like.......maybe not big....but flashy

You can get 9's out of an eclipse without spending a fortune. Maybe not if it's one of the 3rd gens, the newer ones. Few of my friend's have '90 - '93 Eclipse/Laser/Talon and one runs like mid 10's and he bought like a low - mid range turbo. He strips all the seats out, excludeing his. I'm sure he could get it down to 9 seconds.

Unless you drag race as a profession or have a lot of money to burn then it is stupid to make car for drag racing and yet the vehicle is illegal on the street. Of course that is my opinion on the subject. And guys some of you make it sound like it is no sweat to have a 9 second car when it is reality it is not that easy or cheap.

Suspension is not going to help get you in the 9's.....

Actually Aken suspension has a lot to do with 9 second cars especially if you drive a stick. One your get vehicle into that low of times you have to have a suspension able to withstand hard launches. One of the fastest 4 gen F-Bodys in the world is an M6 (manual 6 speed) and the only way he can keep up with the autos is because of his suspension which enable to make incredible launches.
