I tryed posting on one that I started 299 days ago...but Ill just start a new one.

I wrote this to WSP ...
Hello, my name is Justin Henderson and I am a resident in Yakima County and Pierce County. I have been modifying my vehicle this summer and have been watching the regulations of the State Legislature. I use this website as a source so I don't do anything that could be wrong.

I planned on putting on a underglow kit when until I read number 16. *Aftermarket neon lighting devices may not be used onmotor vehicles while they are in motion on public roadways.*
My delimea is that the kit that I planned on installing was not a neon kit. It is acutally an LED kit. Here is the site where I ordered it from.

As you can see, it has LEDs rather then neon. Neon is described as this...

I just want to be completely legal and sure on what I install.
Thank you for your time,
Justin Henderson

And here was their response....

already knew that but thanks for the additional info and re assurance....Most areas are a little pickier as well...some say "the vehicle may not be started or running while the lights are in use" and never on a public roadway....Just remember in WA, if you drive with them on, you will get stopped my fellow ****

Also, what the heck happend to you coming up to my place to get the kit installed...we still planning on doing that or what bro icon_lol.gif

haha true, i forgot about that when school got in the way. I eneded up doing about a tube a day since ive been home from college because I have been sick. I am working on doing my front tube soon, I just need my cusin to help me network it because I cut the wire completely off because it was touching my exhaust. So yeah, I do have everything installed, just not the front tube working yet.

Been a while since I've been here, but hello again.

Yaa more washingtonians =D.

The only encounter I had with police was in Bellevue when I was driving around with all my cathodes on. Cop simply flashed his lights I turned off my glow and he left me alone.

Well got my new car now, gonna be working on my install. So lets see if the cops pick on me soon =P
