i plan on putting more leds on the model car becaue it isnt bright enough...those pictures are actually an illusion because the car is sitting on frosted glass...so when it sits on a regular coffee table or something it doesnt glow very bright...and yes i want to eventually put the car in my real tC, i just have to figure out somewhere to incorporate it so it looks right...thanks!

If its a 9volt, you can get some much smaller 12v batteries on the 'net. Make it a little easier to hide it.

Glass is a bit more expensive and usually alot heavier than the plastic. However, most home improvement stores (i.e. Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.) will have both. I've purchased lexan sheets from my local Home Depot for projects I've done in the past.

the tC is a hell of a car for the price..anyone who's driven one probably agrees.

plus, the SC for it is a reasonable price....yum

They had both at my local Home Depot... however the "frosted" one was pretty heavily done (I'm not sure how much light would actually get thru it).

If you wanted to you could always get a clear one and use some "frosted-look" vinyl to cover the clear lexan. This vinyl covering is also available at most home improvement stores... it is originaly intended to be placed on house windows you don't want people looking in or glass shower doors in the bathroom. I believe there is also a spray-on paint that also gives ya that frosted look. Just look around a Home Depot or Lowe's and you should find something that will work for ya.

EDIT >> Sorry for the "frosted glass" hijack icon_smile.gif .

L8R,
