Molex Connector for Computer Hookup

This simple wire and switch setup will allow you to hook up one of our Cold Cathode Kits, or any 12v-ready light source, to your computer's power supply with ease!

Cathode Hookup

Simply disconnect an already-existant molex connector, plug the cathode adapter in, mount the switch, mount and hook up the cathodes, and you're ready to go! This connector has the power plug for the cathode transformer already built in, so no hardwiring is needed! Very quick and simple installation.

Other Light Hookup

The installation is nearly identical, but instead of using the small connector designed for the cathode power plug, just cut if off! Hook up the red and black wires to the respective positive and negative wires on your light(s), cover the wires with tape or shrink wrap, and enjoy!

The switch is a standard on/off round rocker, and has a mounting hole diameter of 0.75 inches (3/4").
