Adjustable Door / Hood Pin Switch
This adjustable pin switch allows your lights, or any other 12volt circuit, to turn on when you open your hood, trunk, door, tailgate, etc.
Use it to turn on additional lighting at night to easily see around your car, activate your car alarm if, for instance, your hood is opened, or just to trick out your friends!
Mounts in a 5/16" hole.

this switch is certainly not plug n play friendly. dont buy this switch and expect to be able to drill a hole and bolt it in like you would a toggle switch. this one takes more creativity.
the chrome sleeve is not removable or adjustable, it appears fixed in place, and what looks like a nut is actually a bolt. this device cannot be simply screwed into a hole because everything from the hex head to the end of the black plastic button will stick out where the door is to close.
if the chrome sleeve is to be mounted flush to the surface the door shuts on, expect to be doing a few more moddifications.
