Surface Mount PLCC-2 SMT LEDs

PLCC stands for Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier. The PLCC-2 size LEDs are commonly used in car dashboard and gauge cluster illumination. To change the color of your dash lights, you can use these LEDs. First figure out what size LEDs are in your dash. Some cars have a typical bulb, while others use a surface mount LED soldered directly to the circuit board.

LED Gauge Swap Installation

If you don't feel comfortable soldering these super small LEDs onto the circuit board, you can hire an installer. Some may be local to you, otherwise you can take your dash gauges out of the car and send it to the installer.

First off I would like to say thank you to the guys at Oznium for the great service and fast shipping!!! As for the product I could not be happier!!!! I hated the Amber lights that Toyota used on the dash to illuminate the cluster! I ordered the blue PLCC-2 LEDs and after installing them I was Compleatly satisfied!! I have done several installs for different customers and have always referred them to buy their PLCC-2 from Oznium or else I would not install them because I do not trust any other vendors.

Great LEDs and the light omitted is always bright! Highly recommended!
