200 Amp Relay

This 200 amp relay can be used as a battery isolator. When you use more than 1 battery in your car, you want to isolate them when the engine is not running. This prevents excess wear on the batteries because they will not be able to drain themselves.

Or use it to switch a very high current load with a small current. Use it for mobile audio, high powered air compressors, etc.

Special Note: This relay does not come with any special packaging, or specific instructions. Rest assured it is still a brand new product!

I bought this for my 2nd battery in the trunk. It works great. All you need is a decent power source for the relay. I used the remote line from the stereo. I connected the 2 batteries through this. This relay has kept both batteries fully charged when the vehicle is not in use. It runs plenty of juice back to the 2nd battery. I have 2-2000 watt amps and 4 12" subs being powered through this line. The main reason to use this is so there won't be more than 200 amps drawing off your front battery because your alternator will overpower itselt to recharge the battery and burn out. The alternator ends up powering the amps if the batteries drain too quick. I highly recommend one of these to run 2 batteries together or even if you have a strong amplifier, it will save your alternator.
