Magic RGB Auto Fade Multi Color Changing Prewired LED

I bought half a dozen of the color change ones and the solid white ones to use as Halloween carved pumpkin lights. They work great! You can just drill a hole and poke one through all, or part of, the way in to control brightness. They can be positioned and angled, alone or in combination. You can even push them through from the inside, exposed or embedded, to light up eyes or a moon or...

I used these in a lighted address sign I had purchased previously and the original LED lights went out after 2 months. These make the sign look so much better and were perfect for the project.

This is a fantastic price on pre-wired color-changing LEDs. Plus, the order was processed right away and I had them in my mailbox in just a few days.

I do recommend feeding them less than 20mA due to some heat issues with the 12 volts. Ran some tests and the brightness is very nearly as good when fed more like 10-15mA, and the heat drops off fairly significantly...should extend the life of the unit.

I ordered the RGB color-changing LEDs to to use as accent highlights in my landscaping and fountain. Landscape all runs on 12V so I assumed it was a no-brainer. Hooked these guys up and they were red...just red, no color change. Hooked them up to a USB plug and connected to the computer, they worked fine. A little research uncovered that landscape transformers (at least the Malibu ones) are 12V AC. I did a little refresher electronics and determined that I needed a full-wave bridge rectifier to change AC to DC (Angus wasn't available) Radio shack # 276-1185 and we are color-changing fools. {$3.49} and they'll run 25 AMPS. Hope this helps someone else. Great LED's, great service, nice people. Oznium rawks.

I put about 28 of these all around my dj hero renegade controller to go with my xB for night shows.

I love these things and how they just change colors randomly on there own. Here is a vid of them installed.

I love these things. I have them in the cupholder of my tC. Just make sure if you want them to cycle at the same rate to not cut the wires :-)

I have some of these behind my TV, and at night it looks really really awesome (and bright).

Simple to hook up, just feed it 12 volts and off it goes, fading through rich colors.

I run five of these in my application and as seen in the video, they won't sync up correctly with each other, but that's what I expected out of a non controllable single color changing unit. It's not an issue in my eyes, just giving someone the heads up in case they think multiple units will sync together without a hitch.

Overall, a great product that I'm happy to have (and show off) to my friends!
