The most basic type of switch - the On/Off switch. It has just 2 prongs:
These other switches have built-in LEDs that light up when the switch is turned on:

What? No nice animated drawings like the older switch diagrams??
Definately useful for someone buying Oz switches though. |

Hey man,
This is so useful. I recently got a 2001 Tiburon for my first car and I love it!  I'm for sure going to get either led strips or cathodes (which do you suggest?). Also this diagram is well presented and everything, but one thing could you make one showing for several "light source". My plan is one under each dash (passenger and driver) and underneath the seats (one on each for the back). Sorry last thing, for the "light source" under the seats will their be a problem with space? Will it rub? scratch? break? Just hoping no...

hey man about the underseat lighting i know in my tibby i had plenty of room to fit stuff but i would get flex strips for under the seats cuz you might sit down to hard once and crack the thode tube.....

Yeah a lil more complicated for me to understand .. But yes it helps:) Thanks man.. Anyone else have anything:) All will help! I'm new to this and it's all just making me understand everything so much more and how i'm going to set it up and what to order:D Cant wait!

actually, NOPE... went with an OEM Duralast replacement because the factory alternator's output was 95 amps, the duralast (and all other OEM replacements) I got was 105 amps (with a lifetime warranty), and an upgraded alternator was $100 more, with no lifetime warranty, for 2 extra amps ;] i replaced the alternator twice on that car in the 5 years I owned it, but it was so worth it haha... you have a nice setup yourself

Alternators go out because they are straining ;) upgrade the wires for the alt to bat via versa
