Question
Do you have any switches that can handle 18V? I have my cathodes hooke to 2 9V batterries= 18V. I wanted a switch so I could turn them onoff instead disconecting them from the batteries every time I turn them off. If you do not have any 18V swithes do you have any suggestions for an alternative battery source?? - by Jacob (Indiana)
Answer
It should handle the 18v put out by the 9v batteries. While on that note, why do you have it attached to 9v batteries? Why don't you wire the cathodes directly into your vehicle like originally intended? Also, the 18v may eventually damage the transformer, as it isn't designed to work off that high of a voltage.
