Iceled tubes are available in different lengths to suit a wide variety of applications. Each tube contains a series of individually addressable pixels and can be supplied in lengths of 1, 2, 3 and 4 feet. These tubes can be connected to Iceled UFO controllers for a master control of show lights in your vehicle. In addition, the one-foot tubes have a a built-in color changing program that makes it suitable for stand-alone operation. If you plan to purchase a full UFO kit but would like to experiment with Iceled products first, the 1 foot tubes are perfect for you. Put them under the seats or in the grille.

All Iceled tubes are engineered to withstand exposure to harsh environments. The electronic components are fully protected in within a shatterproof polycarbonate tube. Each tube comes with a generous 16 foot length of robust three-core cable.

LEDs
Every tube is filled with groups of high quality red, green, and blue 'sun power' LEDs for unrivaled brightness. The precision optical characteristics of these devices produce a uniform beam pattern that radiates over an extra wide 70 degrees. The entire visible spectrum is rendered accurately and vividly with these top of the line Iceled tubes.

Applications
Additional tubes of any size may be connected to Iceled Spot or UFO controllers (up to a maximum of 8 foot per channel). Note that "single pixel" Iceled interior controllers, such as the Iceled Spot, will illuminate the entire length of the tube with the same color.

One-foot Tubes
Unlike the longer tubes, one foot tubes can be used without an external controller. A stand-alone mode allows them to perform a variety of functions simply by connecting them to a 12 Volt DC supply. This makes them ideal as a "starter" product.

Pixel Structure
The LEDs in each tube are arranged into separate pixels that can simultaneously display any of 2,097,152 different colors. Resolution enhancement technology employed by the UFO ECU multiplies the effective number of these pixels so that patterns run in a seamless fashion for incredibly fluid effects.

The maximum power drain is just 0.3 Amps per one-foot section. Current draw stabilization guarantees that the tubes operate consistently at peak intensity over an extra wide voltage range of 8 to 18 Volts DC.
