The purpose of this project was to have LEDs come on when the hood is opened. I accomplished this by feeding a signal to a relay from the OEM hood pin switch. In this photo, I've attached some automotive harnesses to the LEDs for easy removal. Also, I've machined some initial sample brackets to mount the LEDs to under the hood of my G35 Sedan. The brackets will undergo some more changes before the final design.
