Frequently Asked Questions
You can experiment with a number of different resistors until you find a suitable brightness.
To start, we'd recommend ordering about 5 of the 1/2 Watt, 560 Ohm resistors.
You can then try wiring anywhere from 1 to 5 (or even more if you want) in series.
You can connect them to either the positive or negative wire.
It won't reduce nor damage the life of the LED. If anything, it should increase it slightly.
Here's a quick video to show how you can use the resistors:
The nuts on the 6mm bolt is sooooo tiny. it's easy to miss.
So here's a photo to show you where to look for it.
And please be careful not to overtighten it - this could break the flange which is somewhat delicate.

Perfect little light
Jason Temple from Modesto, CA
Black led bolt light came looking just like I wanted. Using in my car as accent / custom fog lights. I give 5 stars lights are high quality and no issues so far.
Vicki L Taylor from Melbourne, FL
I bought these LED bolt light to install in the center of an amber light
For my outside mirror lights. They worked amazingly.
Great product but one light failed already.
Alan Burke from College Park, MD
Love the 11mm lights, however one of the six that I purchased and installed on my truck has failed already. It's not a wiring problem. It's only been a month since my install so I'm waiting to see if any others blow before I replace the dead light. Otherwise, this has been an awesome product. Gave 3 stars only because of failure on 1 of 6.
Oznium LED bolts
Darren DeYoung from Prescott, AZ
Great product, making it easy for lighting support in a small format. Wiring and hardware of excellent quality. Light output great. Very satisfied with the product.
Ian Nadeau from Kamloops, Canada
Easy to use, high quality product would recommend these LEDs to anyone
Geoff Rood from Detroit Metro
To begin, I was pleased with the amount of technical information Oznium had available about their lighting solutions, as well as the variety of solutions in the LED bolt selection. The flush mount LED bolts arrived quickly and well packaged, with double threaded nuts as well as spring clips (which I wasn't expecting). Dimensions matched the technical drawings available perfectly, so no surprises there. The lights themselves work great. The long wiring lead will allow extra flexibility for wiring.
Perfect amount of light!!
Christopher Fergen from Sioux City, IA
Installed 2 Bolt LEDs 1w, no lens, Neutral white in the upper trim panel of our 21 Subaru Ascent for added cargo compartment light. The factory light is low on the side and offers very little light. These bolt lights give a nice even spread of light with little to no shadowing. The light color is perfect! a nice white with zero blue to it. I know 33 lumens doesn't sound like much, but it's just right. Not enough to blind you, but more than enough light to be usable. This is one of the few bolt lights that do not have a lens which is awesome!! With a lens it tends to have focused beam rather than a nice even spread of light. Keep making these!!!

Vibrating off motorbike
Marcel vK from Netherlands
11mm stainless steel 3W red.
Light output is really good. even so bright i needed to dim it with a resistor. I'm using it as an additional taillight next to my stock taillight on my motorbike.
The bolt is an 11mm fine thread. This is a bit troublesome as the nuts supplied with the bolt are round with a knurling on the outer diameter.
Nice to fit with your hands but its not possible to put a pliers or wrench to apply a good amount of force and tie down the bolt properly.
I would prefer a M10 (metric) tread as then i could mount with an M10 nut and tie the bolt down properly.
ive had to add a liquid treadlock to keep the supplied rings from vibrating off.
