Remove the center console. There is only one screw towards the back. Engage the emergency brake, otherwise the console will not come out.

Once the screw is removed, just grab the back end and lift.

To get the front of the console off, shift the transmission into L (automatic) or 4th (manual), and pull firmly upwards. There are two plastic pop-clips holding the front down.

Be careful! The front clips can break if you're too forceful, and they just slide into retaining channels on the bottom of the console. Either stick some tape over them to keep then in place during the install, or place them in a safe location.

With the console off, it is time to drill the switch hole. The cathode kit only needs one hole, whereas the meteor kit needs 2 - one for on/off, and one for the pattern control button.

Measure down the front silver trim ring about 1 to 2 inches and drill the holes. You can do them side-by-side or on-top of one another. The exact placement is up to you. The holes should be about 1.5 to 2 inches apart to allow for sufficient switch clearance.

Carefully pop the switches into place. The pattern selection switch for the meteor kit needs to be secured from the back with the included plastic nut.

Take off the lower center-stack shroud.

The first thing to do is remove the plastic tab from the right side - firmly but slowly pull from the side closest to the engine. Be careful though! It has a tendency to fly off when it finally lets go.

Once you've gotten the right side off, the left side just pulls off. Pull towards the rear of the car. Then lift up and back to undo the final clips.

Next, run the power wire to the fuse block. Remove the fuse cover to the interior fuseblock. This is located down near the hood release on the left steering column.

This is the fuse slow that we'll be using to power the lighting. It is on the bottom row, slot #3. It is a constantly-powered slot, which menas that is receives power even when the car is turned off and the key out of the ignition. This allows you to show off your lights without being in the car.

Run the plug under the piece of carpet between the shifter and center-stack. The green arrow indicates where the plug needs to be run, and the red circles are where the pop-clips for the center console go (for re-installing the console).

With the wire through the carpet, run it between the air conditioning ducts (dotted line is the portion of the path not visible in the picture)

Now, feel up under the pedals for top of the carpet and pull gently - it's just held on by velcro. Run the wires down under the pedals, up by the dea-pedal, and rest it. We will plug it in later. Now arrange the wire to your liking and replace the carpet, giving the section with the velcro a firm slap so it holds securely.

Now it is time to mount the front power transformer, which is going to be stuck on one of the front air conditioning ducts like so:

Just peel the backing off the velcro and attach the inverter. Squeeze it firmly to ensure a strong hold. Place the center console on the passenger seat, right side up. This will make the following steps much easier.

Now you can run the front power and pattern wires to the inverter and plug them in. Run the under the carpet the same way as you did the power wire to the fuse block, then plug them into the inverter. Next, plug in the rear power and pattern wires. Remove the backing on the Velcro and stick the inverter in the slot behind the rear cubby on the center console.

Now it's time to mount the lights. There is no exact location to mount the front lights, so you'll have to do a little exploration as each individual has their preferences. Our installer mounted his in this manner:

Driver side:

Left side mounting is on the metal brackets. It has several holes drilled in it, so pick one to your liking and slide the ziptie through.

The right side (beside the center console) mounting in this case is the blue cable. Just wrap a ziptie around it and the light, cinch it down, and you're done. The cable doesn't move or change locations at all, so it's a good mounting point.

Passenger Side:

Left side (nearest the center console):

This is mounted to the pre-existing bracket/mounting point for the factory-option lights that are a mass rip-off. As with the driver side-left mounting, use the pre-drilled hole on this bracket to run the ziptie and secure the light.

Right side:

This is a bit more complicated. There is a large, white, plastic thing with a thick support column. This column is what we'll use to mount the right side of the front passenger light. Run the ziptie around the column and light, cinch down, and voila!

Now run the wire/plug from each front light behind the a/c duct and plug them into the inverter. Now it's time to re-mount the lower center-stack shroud. Just slide that sucker back in, making sure to line the clips up with their corresponding locations:

Re-insert the plastic pop-tab on the right side, and you're done with the front!

The rear lights are much easier. The first thing you will need to do is located the little rings under the front seats. Just feel around the rear portion of the seat bottoms Ð the rings are in this general area:

Once you've located the rings, make a small slit in the fabric over each one. Next, run the zip-ties through the rings and cinch them up a small amount as pictured above. Now thread the light through both zip-ties, making sure to have the end with the wires/plug facing the center console area. Tighten up the zip-ties and cut off the extra portion. Repeat for the other side.

Of course, we're going to need a ground in order for the lights to work. First, loosen the bolt that's near the emergency brake.

Now take the ground lead of the power harness (black wire), and curve it into a backwards question mark. Hook the lead around the bolt threads, so the wire is on the left side. Now re-tighten the bolt.

Now take the center console and lower it back over the gearshift and emergency brake. Take the rear light-wires and plug them into the inverter. If you removed the front pop-clips from the console, reinstall them. Now lower the front of the console down and line up the pop-clips with the holes (circled in red). It may take a couple tries, so take your time. Once they're lined up, apply firm pressure to the cup-holder areas over each clip. Now firmly pound each side to vent some of the frustration from lining them up, and to ensure they're snugly in place.

Here's where things get difficult: lower the rear of the console down, and line up the hole with the little plastic square behind the emergency brake cables. Re-insert the screw into the hole in the little rear cubby of the console, and wiggle it around until it's lined up properly. This takes a few tries, unless you're incredible skilled or lucky J Once lined up, tighten her down and you're done!

Now, back to the fuse-block under the dash. Take that little plug, and insert it in the proper slot Ð bottom row, slot #3:

Flip the power switch on the lights, and watch them dance! Each time you turn the lights on, they will default to demo mode and run through all the patterns and speeds in a continuous loops. If you wish to manually select the pattern, press the green button. *If your lights didn't turn on, and you've follow the instructions, turn off the lights, remove the plug from the fuse-block, flip it, re-install, and try the lights again*

Occasionally, if you press the green button for too long the front and rear sets of lights will un-sync. This is cured by flipping the power switch off then on again. The green button only requires a momentary depression to change patterns
