alright i have done one of these on an older v8 which ran like **** and blew a good 6 foot flame, but never on a 4 banger. i already have the car running kinda rich and with the 3" exhaust and no cat i think it will be able to do it. but im not dropping a dime without addvice. pork im sure may have some but idk if anyone else knows about it so im opening it up.
and i also dont feel like running 93 octane through the damned thing just to get it to fart some fire.

I've seen four bangers with them, so I know it's possible. Don't look at me for any knowledge on it, though icon_biggrin.gif

We have flame throwers on the Hearse, I posted a HOW to WAY back in the day. We used that layout for about 2 months, then bought one of the ebay "kits" but didn't like its design either. They stall your car so you get raw fuel and then light em up. What we have now, and have been using for about 6 months is a spark plug in each exhaust pipe, with a NEON Transformer from a UB kit. (one on each plug) makes a PERFECT spark everytime! Use this information at your own risk, I'm not responsible for any unexpected cook outs.

The pic in my sig is of the 1st design we had. Shot about a 3-4 ft flame. The new design we can shoot about 6-7 ft icon_twisted.gif I don't know if the same concept will work on a 4 banger, we are running it on a V8 7.7 liter

In other news, i've seen my friends 93 RX-7 shoot fireballs (with no sparkplug). Oh yeah, f-16's have pretty nice flames out the exhaust too...

alright bought a coil, wires, plug today and have a control module and ignition button setup on its way. also mounted a metal plate around my bumper where there will be fire. this should prevent my bumper from actually being on fire as to just melting.

my signature = 4 popper

DONT run it rich, you will need an oil change every 300 miles. Gas eats away at oil, NOT GOOD. Inject that ****, get yourself a fast flowing fuel pump and make some sprayers out of some pinched brake lines. You'll be happier then a pig in ****

put a coil of copper wire in there and it should shoot green tinted flames.

or get some boric acid roach killing powder and mix it with methyl achohol drygas and it will burn a bright green flame.

p0rk, read my above post about the neon transformers and give it a try sometime, you won't be upset! Its so simple! Just wire the Tranny to a switch and bam your done! Makes a PERFECT spark as long as your holdin the switch!
