I got an K&N Air filter induction kit, and was wounndering what is the best way to clean it. Ive been told warm water and washing up liquid and someone told me to use warm water with methalated spirits? im confused what is the best way? cheers

K&N sells a 'recharge' kit, to clean airfilters, I use it all the time.

^What he said... buy the kit. If you spent the money on the filter, you might as well spend a little bit more on that kit. It lasts for quite a while.

You can find "recharge kits" at most local auto parts stores (atleast they carry them down here) or on the Internet.
