I just did 24 white superflux 4-chip LEDs in the front dome light
It is just insanely bright $54 worth of LEDs, $5 worth of circuit board, about 2 hours labor. The whole assembly is for sale for $90 if anyone with a tC is interested.

Enough superflux and the right projector, it's possible for decent lowbeams or fogs.
Few cars are out/coming out with LED based headlights. |

Did you solder that in series? How many resisters did you put in? Just trying to figure out how exactly you soldered it ;)
Thanks |

Looks like 8 in series per light.

8 in series would be way too high of a voltage for a car to fully illuminate them. He is most likely running four in series. Major overkill, but it's Phil he likes to do those things. |

Four per series would only be 8 volts, though. He'd kill the LEDs in no time. Or maybe the map light voltage is regulated. I dunno. Cool either way.
