More photos tomorrow. I didn't take in-process pics with my camera, so I gotta get those from my friend. Not that there's much beyond that to look at right now.

It's a projector for his HIDs most likely. He's putting them in himself rather than buying headlights with projectors in.

Why won't it work? Do those projector housings only accept D2S bulbs or something? I hope he isn't putting his oznium HIDs in a non-HID projector. If he does, I'd hate to be the fella in oncomming traffic. icon_eek.gif

Yes, that is what I am doing. I can't buy headlights with projectors already in them because they don't exist for my car.

And it'll work just fine, don't listen to pOrky. biglaugh.gif

That's far from done, fyi. The cut will be cleaner on the other one just cause now I've done it once so it'll be easier to template it up.

Blah blah blah. You don't know all of my plans for it, nor understand what I was trying to show you online, and it'll look great to ME when it's done, which is all that matters. icon_biggrin.gif

Hey Aken, do you have the shroud for that projector? It will really clean the looks up. Also, you may wanna paint the headlight reflector.

Both are in the plans. Don't worry, it'll look much much better when completed.

Why wouldn't it work correctly? You're all way too negative. I shouldn't even post the results of this project just because everyone **** bashes me for it.

I'm liking it Eric. Everyone can ***** about how it looks but I'm sure they've never tried a projector retrofit. You're not one to do things halfass, I'm sure it will look amazing when you're finished.

it will work....I just wish you were using a better projector.

I'm interested to see how it will turn out and delighted that you are finally doing projectors.

I'd like a better projector, but for $30 it was hard to pass these up :)

Most of you people need to realize that it's not even HALF done yet. There has been no cosmetic work even done yet. Yikes! You'll all see icon_twisted.gif

The only thing not looking good is Aken's face.
I think the headlight looks fine so far.

yeah the only thing i don't really like is the way the projector looks... but from the beamshot he posted of it.. it looks good

i wanna do a bi-xenon projector set-up real bad on my current truck... but i'll probably hold off until i get my next truck and do a 4 bi-xenon projector set-up in the headlights

our project has much potential for it... be nice to see what the end product is

Mounting to the reflector portion using screws and bolts through stock locations on the projector.
