they need to make performance exhaust with the muffler hidden. I'm sorry but a car looks like crap with a big ass chrome muffler fully visible.

but other than that the car looks sweet as hell!

STIs sound awesome with an exhaust system. I think it looks good.

And glowinpontiac was talking about any car in general with the muffler visible out back. Doesn't matter if its chrome or stainless or whatever. It would look better without the muffler visible is what he's saying. icon_wink.gif

they should know its not about looks. its about durability and sound construction. you just cant beat stainless but if they want something else they can have it.

i put my money on stainless each time.....oh wait, i have stainless on the stang too

Oooh, snap! Someone get Pork a Valium. Or a triple Scotch neat. Or a Valium AND a Scotch... icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Seriosly though... that white would look good with a full "Stormtrooper" treatment, though... black-on-black interior (that gray with blue accents has to go IMHO in place of something with more zing and nothing's better than all-black leather... again IMHO)... tinted windows... every shred of chrome blacked out... blacked-out tails... Even black wheels (although I usually hate them, I like them OK on themed black-and-white cars).

The pipe's OK - I honestly didn't notice it either way until people started picking on it.

Finish it up with all-white UB lighting and cool white interior lighting to play up the white theme (too much or multicolored glow will totally blow the theme in my mind) and you'd have one hell of a nice-looking car.

Wish I could drive it! icon_razz.gif

PS - just because an older guy had it doesn't mean that it's not been driven and driven hard. Most of the REALLY fast guys I AutoX with are in their 50's or even 60's (lap times don't lie). It's the young guys that think all there is to going fast is having a lead foot. They spin out all over the course. Experience and patience, combined with knowing when to stomp on it and when to refrain is priceless. I'll agree though that a car like that in the hands of a young guy is usually a penile replacement, and more often than not (not always, mind you... but often) the poor thing would be beat to $#! after a few months in such hands. icon_wink.gif

My buddy John has a mint CRX with 24,000 miles on it. And he is one of the fasted guys on the x course here in Wisconsin. Thats the only thing the car is used for, runs in the stock class and has nothing but crazy suspension mods.

i think it looks fine and if you put neons on it then it will look ***. and the sti is a factory modified model of an original car, just like an evo. most of the parts on the car performance wise are already built to a point where replacing them is pointless, so pork; sorry but i think whining about the exhaust is pointless and saying its the only "make fast" part on there. and again, dont put neons on it. that would look ***.

noob pork?? check the join date....wait its feb 04...basically the same time you joined...

neons on a rally car? i dont tihnk so!

and as for the blue and black interior...its stock...the jdm spec c sti comes with all black interior...but i like the blue and black..

Also i do have black lightweigh SSR wheels for it...but its winter here so i have the stock wheels on with winter tires..

and pork...your friend with the crx with the stock motor and suspension mods....there is no way he can even keep up with any other car with his 80hp....or about 55 at the wheels... and in Autox the "stock class" is for stock cars...no suspension mods, motor mods. ect...
