Well, my dad bought me some silverstar headlight bulbs for Christmas and I must say that the difference is amazing.

here is the stock ones.

AMAZING, but I was next to an Acura with HID's the other night, and HID's still blow these out of the water.

They burn out fairly quickly on me, worth the bucks if you like them, I suggest ebaying an extra set so you don't have to pay retail @ an auto parts place. Sweet though.

I don't see a sock!

I had Silverstars for a while, never had any issues. They were nice up until HIDs.

silverstars go out from vibration. So depending on your vehicles headlight design and how secure it is, that is likely the cause for the short life span.

Except for the fact that the car is at different spots and the fence is wet in the first pic.

except your iso changed and looks like your white balance was not set, so it was likely on auto, which can really mess up comparison pictures.

that will tend to make comparison changes difficult.

Well, I am thoroughly pleased with them. I was considering getting some fogs for it to add some extra light before I had the silverstars, but now, I really don't want fogs. I did find some nice ones that fit into OEM location with an OEM style switch for under $100 (including relay and everything) Now I don't want fogs.
