i have a rocker switch and i was wondering how to install it or make it look more pro...what material do i need????

Why do you need to mount it in a box, you can mount it anywhere?

i finally figured out that for the oznium.com round rocker switches (both the LED and non-LED versions) the hole should be 13/16" in diameter. i went through a few chunks of scrap wood before figuring that out.

Use a 3/4" drill bit and round it out a little bit. Worked fine for me.
