First off, I love your Grand Prix.

Second, where exactly could I put those transformers? Edit the pic in Paint or something, if you can, and point it out.

It's hot glued now to the top. I'm up for any options on how to hide it. It does kind of look bad just sitting there. Although no one ever talks about the transformers, just the awesome glow comming from the tubes.

My transformer is hiding in a gap above the headliner.

You should be able to hide it easily by somehow getting above the headliner, then making a hole to run the wires from each transformer to the cathodes.

hey im gophs brother i have 2 cathodes in my head liner they are set back about 12 inches more than yours i have the transformer hidden behind the molding in between the rear window and the two rear side windows. it looks good there are nothing sticking out. you might be able to find space in the molding inbetween the front-side and rear-side windows but i doubt it. im almost sure though that with the sunroof there would be room in the headliner. your car looks nice i like what you did with the cathodes.

Just one question can you see the cathodes from the out side if you kneel down a little.

I have four cathodes in my car total. And when they are on, I can't even see out of my rear-a-view mirror. They sure look nice though. The glow that is. And I'll check out if I can see them when I kneal down. Do you mean see the cathode itself, or the glow?

Well, for my car, I had to take the back seat out, and some of the trim, and then the back panel thing. The speakers are screwed in from the top. Big mistake I think...would be a lot easier to have them from the bototm.

i'm not sure what colour your headliner is, but mine is black, and the white wires stood out a lot. so i covered them with black electrical tape. did you say you hot glued your cathodes to the headliner? icon_confused.gif never thought of that way. how does everyone have their cathodes mounted? personally, i used velcro. stapled the fuzzy side to the roof and the spikey side to the square ends of the cathodes. i'll get a pic one of these days

There are plenty of spots to put lights in that car man. You dont need to put them on the headliner and tape over the wires..... icon_neutral.gif

Mine is black, kinda, maybe grey. I dunno. Anyway, yeah, I used hot glue.

What accually happened was I used velco, one strip on the square end of the Cathode, and the other end on the headliner. But they kept falling off, the velco sticky stuff wasn't sticky enough, so I glued the velco on the cathode and glued the velcro on the headliner so I can take the cathode off, but the velco sticks there.
