I have four of the million LED strips. Just installed them in my wheel wells today then turned them on.
The lights don't align correctly. Is there an adjustable speed that I don't know about? |

they more than likely wont be in synch.
they would need to be plugged into a controller to do that and as far as i know no such controller exists for the strips. |

Same thing is happening with my headlights. Phil said to splice them into one of the "clear pucks" instead of giving each strip its own. You can PM Phil and he can give you some more info.
I haven't had time to try this yet because my car is in a garage 15 miles away and i just talked to Phil like an hour ago. |

They are like controllers that cycle the leds. They are clear discs. I'm just curious how these are unsynchronized. If all these pucks were manufactured the same, and are powered at the same instant, they should be aligned. I can only splice two sets together. So 4 strips = 2 different cycles(front wheels and backwheels, because extending 4 wires over the distance of the car is not worth it) I might as well not splice any together. Oh well Wish I had gotten either solid green or blue. Last edited by IceDog on Sat Feb 17, 2007 8:37 pm, edited 1 time in total |

I think the whole random-color-ness of four alternating strips would be sweet.

running the wire the full length wouldnt be that hard.just zip tie it to your UB tubes |

When talking to The_Mastor, I compared them to 2 shoots of bamboo that were planted at the same time. 2 years later, they are going to be different heights. Mmmmm bamboo shoots mmmm Pandas

it's very hard to keep cheap electronics in sync when they have not direct connection between them. The only device that I have found to remain in synce for long periods of time are the ICELED tubes.

One of my meteor tubes is malfunctioning :(
I'll post a video in a few days, when the rain subsides a little and not feeling lazy. |

The Mastor finally got me to take pics.
You are seeing one 19.5" Million Color LED Strips per wheel well. Watch the movie here: http://stromaware.com/car/wheel/P1000700.MOV I put the lights directly above the wheel because I have stock wheels and I don't want to publicize that. Overall, I am not too impressed with the brightness of the glow; green is the best. If you still want to get the led strips, I recommend going with a longer strip. 20 inches is not long enough; It's definitely not something you can spot from a far distance. |

Well with that i was thinking of putting 9.5" in each well, might just have to wait and do an ICELED setup, looks pretty nice though IceDog
Ill try to get a video of my headlights the next time i go and work on my car |
