You can't extend the wire from the transformer to the cathodes. Only the ones to power the transformer.

I have a 99EX XLT and I have two under my front seats, and two under the backs. Its friggin BRIGHT! I had them above the visors, but they don't look good cauze they're not discreet enough. Stick some in your grille, stick some in the trunk area, if you can waterproof em, put em under the truck like my "Poor Man's Underbody" experiment. Plenty of stuff to do...pics in the Oznium gallery.

i would like to know the reason i cant extend the wires from the transformer to the cathodes, my friend ordered a pair of cathodes, when he cut the white transformer wires and extended them so he could put one above his door and one above the passenger door we got them all hooked up ready to mount, we tested it and they didnt work! he eventually reconected them and put them in a position were they look good and work, but that ugly transformer makes me want to break them, i guess i dont hate them that much cause im in the process of ordering a set for myself, i just wish you could extend them

it's somthing like 10,000 volts. it's hard to maintain that kind of voltage from a wire, so any extension/extra connections are difficult/impossible.

Don't complain Nick. Cathodes are a million times better than those **** neons Eric stole for you from Meijer. Just paint the transformer box the color of your headliner, or put it under it.
