I was coming home from work, where I saw something I wish I had'nt. A newer tahoe, hit 8 cars, doing over 80 mph is what state highway patrol said. 3 students that lived the town over were killed. Pics are decent quality(Camera phone), and as you can see...it was defe. serious.

Over 7 firetrucks, 5 ambulances, and over 8 cops were there.

Pics.

Damn dude.

A parents worst nightmare. That would be horrible getting a call by the police say their son or daughter died in a wreck.

They told them just to meet the police at the scene, because they couldn't get the bodies out. The whole back end was straight up, crushing the teens in an instance.

Damn sad story. It was defe. a life changing experience. Made me think all day whether or not the guy behind me is gonna stop at an interesection...

Btw: This was a 9 car pileup. The driver of the tahoe hit the back end of the taurus(black car) at a stop light. Domino effect , affected other cars. Driver of the tahoe was ejected, and found 147 feet from his vehicle. 4 killed, and 3 recovering at local hospitals. Life support was also called, and flew 2 of them to Miami valley(big big big hospital)

So did the driver live?
were drugs or alcohol a factor?
I always get a little nervous when I stop at lights and I'm the first car there.. alot of people (especially here in california) really don't pay attention to driving.
I would have hated to have seen something like that, my heart goes out to all the families that were involved, that would be so absolutely horrible to get a call like that.
Just remember when your driving to pay attention, put the phone down (turn the stereo down too) and realize that you're driving a weapon that can cause serious damage and change peoples lives in an instant...

Imagine what it's like to have to TELL the parents something like that.

Imagine what it's like to actually SEE the carnage, up close, for more than the couple of minutes it takes you to inch past in traffic.

Welcome to my world.

Drive carefully.

I never been to a call that bad but I was at one with a pickup vs semi. Driver of the pickup was ejected from it and was on the other side of the road. The passanger was stuck in the truck when it was on fire. I was on the way to the call when it went over the radio that there was one person trapped inside the pickup that was on fire. What do you think I was thinking on my way to the call? I was pretty sure I was going to see someone burned alived when I got there but luckly she got pulled out of a window but is in a semi vegtable state last I heard.
I don't think I could do mccook job and tell a parent that they kid was killed. Seeing all of the stuff is one thing but having to tell someone their love one is dead have to be very hard to do.

obviously. but that point should be presented because it's a life saving action. If your too stupid to forget your seatbelt, you're better off 200 feet away from your car, alive or dead.

Turns out they were all chinease foriegn exchange students.

Actually, I was wrong. The driver lived that caused the accident. it was another driver that was thrown for their vehicle.

News said that the driver that started all of it, was in an accident nine years ago and killed 2 people, did nine months in the pen.

Also, hes a eptileptic, and said he doesnt remember anything. My guess is he had a seizure, and his feet stiffened up, punchin the pedal to the floor, and than the rest was that.
