Just curious, has anyone ever had a cathode transformer catch fire? I keep hearing claims about how horrible cold cathode transformers are, in general not just Oznium's. I had two pair of blue cathodes in my car when I first got it, about 4 years ago, and had them in there for a year or so and had NO problems with fires. These were the real old cathodes too. So just wondering if anyone ever experienced anything like this. Thanks icon_smile.gif

I've had one die on me and that's because it was outside and I did a half-ass waterproof job on it.

Never had a problem with them in cars, scooters, and pocket rockets.

I had two transformers catch fire from Oznium, they are cheap and the fuse thats in them doesn't do ****. I no longer use them, at all. I prefer leds anyways.

I've never had a problem with any transformer I've gotten from here, Logisys or Flowlighting.
