You shouldn't eat for at least 2 weeks. You could cause a MAJOR infection, rotting your whole mouth out.

lol, just kidding with ya Katie. You should be fine within a two weeks or so.

i think it depends on if you had them pulled or cut out. i had mine cut and i swelled up like a mother **** (sorry, no pics) and it took a week or so for the swelling to go down, maybe a few weeks to "heal" my jaw is still **** up though.

anyone else find it funny to make skinny girls think they're fat? example

buy a skinny girl that self-conscious about her weight a shirt. proceed to say
"if its too big, i can exchange it for a smaller size"

anyone?

just me?

I had mine yanked in bootcamp, not too bad except for the fact that codeine kills me (literally, allergic). Which means I got darvocet...mmm.

Took mine a good two and a half weeks to heal fully, but there was a LOT of yelling in my division, heh.

I got the bottom two out and it only really hurt the first 2 days after.
But then it got infected so I went through a couple painful days. And a good amount of swelling.

Had all four of mine done in late January (along with 4 others to make room for braces), got an infection (even after following all directions to a "T" icon_rolleyes.gif ) and even after all that was mostly back to 100 percent in a month. Keep the new 'holes' cleaned out!!! That syringe they give you will take care of most post-meal discomfort!

Had all four of mine cut out when I was in high school. They completely knocked me out for it (nitrous oxide and I.V.). Ended up with an infection a month later. Doc said I had some green beans stuck in one of the sockets... icon_confused.gif

I don't have wisdom teeth - a small percentage of people don't ever grow them. They're genetic left-overs from a time when we ate more roots and vegtables right out of the ground, and wore out our grinding teeth by early adulthood. So, you could say that I'm more genetically evolved than you all that had to have them removed. icon_lol.gif

Yea, neither do i. It's pretty cool to know that we don't have them because of evolution.
