I noticed on the videos that were posted it looks like the scan (or was it chase?) mode goes from the rear to the front. I think I would prefer to have it go from the front to the rear. Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to do that? I guess you would jsut switch the tube around rather than changing a setting on the control box.

first of all "chase" isnt a mode they changed it to "flow"..and i think the mode you are tlaking is flow...i dont have them all memorized yet....but on one it goes from back to front then on another "flow" setting it does from front to back...so yes you can do both...and you cant plug them in backward they wont go in that way

on the "flow" mode what do the front and rear tubes do?...the same as the sides? that would like kind of odd, or asymetical. too bad it doesn't have it so the front and rear tubes start from the center and symetically move outwards.

98sentra:it doesnt matter which slot you plug the tubes into on the distrobution block...they are all the same but for some reason there are 6 slots and you only have 4 tubes so that leaves room for expansion..it will make no difference which slot you plug each tube into...its only a place for the tubes to get power nothing will be different

cheesy:the side tubes either go from back to front or front to back depending on which "flow" mode you pick...the front and rear tubes go from left to right or right to left...if i remember correctly if the side tubes are going from back to front then the front and rear tubes are going right to left..to get it to look like its comming out from the center you would have to do scan 2 i think...its the closest thing to looking like they are comming from the center...on my image station site i have a video of scan 1 but not two..the only difference is if you see scan 1 there is one "section" of light movig...on scan 2 there are 2 "sections" of light moving

i hope that isnt too confusing..its hard to explain...if you want to check out the "scan" function with good videos go to www.plasmaglow.com and watch the videos they have but they dont have videos of "flow"

Yeah I understand that, its just too bad you can't have, say the front and rear to be on scan 1 or 2 with the side tubes on flow 1 or 2, so then it would be completely symetical. get what i'm saying?

that could probably be done if you had 2 control boxes...which if you really want that then you can call PG and ask if they will sell you just a control box so you can do that..i dont see why that wouldnt work...you just hook them both to the same switch...but then again that control box is pretty big and bulky..you would need plenty of room

EDIT: actually you would need a second control box,a second distribution block and a second rainbow colored ribbion wire to connect them...then you would plug two tubes into one block and the other tubes into the other bloack and control them that way
