ok i bought the large barrier strip and i got my leds. i also got my holders too. I plan on having to LEDs per headlight. how do i wire it all to my barrier strip. i forgot how barrier strips works. i need a good explantion thanx

I think they are pretty pointless. I haven't been able to figure out why someone would use them.

I know that is what people say they use them for, but why not use good insulated crimps? run a 12 awg wire from the battery, crimp it off into like 5 18 awg wires or something, and then crimp off of those.

Barrier strip seems is bad because it is not really insulated and you might not grip all the strands of the wire in the screw.

whats u do is attach the little horshoe end with and insulator and then put it under the screws

that is what i did now but i just have a 10 awg one and it is not as clean as o would like it to be.

well i finally have a game plan all drawn up for what i am doing. this will be sumthing good for other people whom are trying to do the same thing i am. i did it through cad so its very neat ill post it later when i update it

yeah, or when you're constantly adding things to your car.. I need to get a few of these so im not constantly taping into wires.. my car is currently a spiderweb of wires. This summer i want to organize it, if at all possible.

I really need to use something like these, or a seperate fuse box type deal where all my wires run.. its getting way to messy under all those pannels.. icon_cry.gif
