One of my friends has a Platinum kit on his car. It looks a lot brighter than his old StreetGlow kit. I'll send him an e-mail to see if he has any pictures of it.

Yeah I think they will cover that. You gotta call em to be sure though.

The tubes look just like any regular neon kit but the transformer makes them a lot brighter icon_smile.gif

That's what happens when you live as long as I have. icon_wink.gif biglaugh.gif

Plasmaglow's warranty is really good. As long as the lexan isn't broken just call them up and get an RA# and they will replace it.

Got an e-mail back from my friend. He's been trying to find someone with a digital camera to get some pictures since he doesn't have one. He lives about 800 miles from me so me doing it is out of the question. As soon as he gets some I'll post them.

Phil has a pic of the kit. He poasted it on Sg once before. it was on some small car and the KIT was WAY brighter. But i didnt like the way the color turned out, it also could have been the pic, good chase it was the pic. But iv noticed the Bright the light the more white the light looks, expect for LEDs

That's WAY brighter than I would expect any neon kit to look. I would imagine that whoever took that picture might have overexposed it a little too long.
A lot of times if you do a timed exposure when taking pictures you can actually make it look brighter than it really is.

As an example here's a few pictures of my car that I took a long time ago when I was playing around with different exposure times. Notice the difference between the two.

Here's one where I didn't expose it for a long enough time to get the actual glow.....

Notice the huge difference in brightness.

Although the Plasamglow Platinum kits are a lot brighter than most neon kits I still think they might have exposed it for a little too long in their picture.
Still, there kits are very bright and well worth the money.

I'm sure their green is at least as good as SG's. Probably better.

I think there green will be more White then SG. Becuse my SG is a little whiteish, like a lime green, But i do like it. THe green LED on my door handles are a deeper green color. But i do like. Allthoe u never really know. PG green might be a darker or the same green, just brighter becuse they use 1) a Higher COmpression of gas then SG. 2) they have more neon then argon gas? I was told on the phone that SG cuts there neon with another gas where PG does not do this, and PG also removed some the argon gas, do put mroe acctuly neon gas in there neon tubes. As to how true this is, I really dont know. BUt if i were to buy another neon kit. I would get a PG kit. Im not hatefull to the company quite yet. Seems like they have LOTs of good stuff out and comeing out. ALso that car in the pic has to be more then one kit, becuse the Wheel Wells are lit up, and the Corner lenes's are also the same color as the neon.

Correct...the colors are produced by phosphorus (sp) coatings on the tube.

Why do you think that the red neon tubes are clear? They don't need any coatings!
