at 10 bucks a pop, I'd say they are priced a bit steep. www.superbrightleds.com has comparable products although the ones I got from them aren't very bright.

Seconded on the superbrightleds comment, I used these style LEDs from them to change the color of my cluster and HVAC lighting. Mine are plenty bright though.

honest to god i JUST order 3 of something like taht except different kind of leds..it is the 5 led 194 bulb...philbo didnt carry them so i tried superbrightleds for the first time...PHIL CARRY MORE VARIATIONS OF LEDS SO I CAN JUST ORDER FROM U...i should get them soon so i will see how they are..im gunna be using them in my air gauges

Send me some of the blue 194's and I'll do a pictoral comparison with the superbrightled ones. My cluster uses four of them, so I could put one of yours in the mix and see if the difference shows.

just ordered a set of these for my rear license plate light.... been needing a side emitting set-up and couldnt find anything i was happy with.... and i half ass attempted to make some of my own... but it wasn't going to work unless i cut up some things and really made it custom... and i just havent felt like doing that lately.... so i'll post up some pics when i get them.. before... halfway done and after
