No more Z28 for me.

The Z28 was just costing me to much money to maintain. The drive train and engine was solid but the rest of the car was just falling apart. This Pontiac Aztek had roughly 28500 miles on the clock when I purchased it and aside from the normal door marks and a few scratches this SUV is in great condition. I'm not happy with the fact I have a bill coming in every month now but at least I'm building some credit. It is going to be hard driving around town without the old trusty LT1.

For 8k it was a deal I did not want to pass up. Sure I do have some regrets I mean who the heck wouldn't? I just could not see paying around 5K to fix up a Camaro with almost a 100K on the odometer. The Aztek is just something to help me get through college and after that it will make the perfect daily driver.

Nope, saw one at Scrape by the Lake last year, Purple, with a body kit, full FG interior and on bags. And it still looked like ass.... my opinion only, if you like 'em then giddyup. Opinions are like assholes, everyone gotta have one.

Gas is way better with the Aztek. Lowest I have gotten so far is 17 MPG with spirited in town driving. I average around 21 MPG going to and from work. The Aztek is quiet too...almost to quiet. I was trying to remove something from my back pocket while sitting in the driver's seat. I did not realize I was pushing down on the gas pedal and when I looked down at my gauges the tachometer read over 4000 RPM (this was in park). Strange thing is that if you didn't listen real hard you could not hear the engine over the A/C.

ha, funny story... i had to change clothes in my car once. I had the radio turned up and when i went to put my pants on i stomped the gas. I didn't noticed but a couple of girls did (oh, it was on campus parking lot)
