I got the kit, but underneath the car there isn't anywhere to mount the stuff.. Almost the entire car base is the same level except for a few small spots, so if I bottom out, I'll crush the ICELEDs, and as for mounting, especially in the front and the back, there is nowhere to put it.

The sides have a bar that is for bottoming out that is prob about 3 foot in length.. I can probably mount the LEDs next to that.. The front and back however are a problem. There isn't really anything to mount it to. The cross support beam that the suspension connects to isn't wide enough... Only about 2 foot wide, and then the rest is suspension etc.. that can move up and down, cracking the tubes. Closer to the rear bumper, there is the bottom of the spare tire compartment that hangs out about 1.5 foot wide with air on one side, and the big exhaust pipe on the other side, so I can't mount it there as the exhuast pipe hangs down way too low. Further up from the rear frame is the gas tank, so can't mount it do that... Am I just screwed? =/

The front is open compartment with suspension in the way of any possible mounting... I'm having a ***** of a time installing anything in this thing =/

That would've been the first thing I checked before buying an $800 product.

I give no sympathy. But good luck.

oh well sympathy wont mount your tubes biglaugh.gif

have fun dude get into some crazy ass modifications up under there. cut out panels to the right diamater, cut some pipe in half and weld it in to your floorboards and then mount your tubes up in it so they're almost flush. that would be bad icon_eek.gif

Well when it's your first time having a car that would actually look cool with those kind of lights on it, it's not the first thing that came to mind.. I just figured, cool, an under body kit.. I can install it.. now that I have it and want to, no spots exist to mount it.. *sigh*... I'm so sick of this damn car and it's pain in the ass installation procedures =P

use some aluminum L-beams... they'll hide and protect the tubes... and drive carefully

hiding the tubes isn't the problem.. it's finding where to mount them that's the problem. The front, I might be able to put a L bracket bar all the way accross to mount it to, but the rear, I don't see any place to put one =/

dude im tellin you it can be done. you just gotta get creative. get a few other mechaniclly inclined people to look under there. three imaginations is better than one. theres always a way especially if you have an iceled. i would def be findin a way to mount that
