Its a static cling tint so it can easily be removed if I get a ticket. Anyone have experience with this stuff? Will it stay on my tail lights or blow off in the wind? Also will it scratch easily when I wash my car? Thanks

i used that stuff for my windows, it goes on the inside of the window, so you dont touch it while washing your car....
and i think you actually need to spray the surface with a little bit of water first before placing the tint on, then after its been on there for 10 years, the sun cooks the crap out of it and then peeling it off is difficult and smells

its not made for tails....so i wouldnt do it
either buy the spray stuff OR (do what i did) buy taillight covers, those are removable so you can take them off if you need to

i have a pic of the headlight covers on here, just so you can see how dark it is

all my tint/covers have been taken off cause i got i ticket for it. if you get stopped for them, be prepared for a nice fine....or a fix it ticket...depending of the cop's mood.

Yea I have them tinted already and I paid $100 fine. I am an amateur spray painter and lets just say they didn't look like a professional did them when i was done. I have a new pair of tails that i just want to tint. I don't think they make blackout covers for a 94 300zx. What if I use regular window tint? My taillights are pretty flat so I don't think I would get any creases. What do you think?

try it, the stuff is only like $10 max at autozone

and you might be able to get a window done out of the remainder
