I told the guy at Plasmaglow that the instruction manual sayed that the kit came with 4 extension cables and I didn't get them so he said he would send me 4. Then I asked about an extension cable for the control panel because somewhere in the manual it stated that there was one so he said he would send it too. The guys name is Brian. I've talked to him before. He's always very helpful.

oh ok..i didnt even read the instructions..lol...but i think that the 4 foot cable will be close....its for the front tube and the cable on there now is very short and i mounted the distrobution block behind the passenger seat not in the engine compartment....if its not enough then that will suck..maybe i'll call them tomorrow and see if i can get another 2 foot cable to come with the 4 foot just incase

i called today to get another cable(2 foot)and the guy told me i may have not need it because when they were packaging the cables to send out they ran out of 4 foot cables so they sent longer ones in place...so they guy looked my order up and im getting a 6 1/2 foot cable so that will be enough..my distrobution block is behind the passenger seen in a cubby hole so i need the cable...he also told me they have cables 8 feet long....i was damn what are people putting this kit on to need 8 foot extensions

you shouldnt need them with a civic...and if you do it will probably only be one for the front tube depending on where you mount the distribution block because the cable for the front tube is pretty damn short

BTW guys, I would recommend you only request extension cables if you need them because PG told me they were running low on stock. Sure they said they were included but it might be nice to leave them to the people who actually need them.

That's like saying if you buy a new car you might want to leave the spare tire at the dealer so they can sell it to someone else even though you've already paid for it. I might not need the cables now but what happens if I ever transfer my LED kit to a different car? The chances of them giving them to me in a few years is slim to none. If they are supposed to come with my kit then I want them...... period. Chances are I'll need at least 2 of them anyway. |

I got mine today, but only problem is they only sent 1 4foot and not the other 2foot ones, so now i can hook up two tubes and not the other two. Man this company really takes that little bit etra to make me happy HuH? There shipping me the two others tommorw. So maby in another week i can have a full kit? BUt on the up side, conrad said he is sending express so maby sooner then i think?

well i also got my extension cables today. i remember reading on the forum that the front tubes have a short cable. what i was thinking was since the back has a longer cable but not long enough to install w/o an extension cable you can put the back tube in the front (this way the cable in the front is longer) and you can add the extension cable to the back tube (which WAS the front). this way you won't need as many extension cables. what do you think of the idea?

you can do that,it wont really make a difference but then the new front tube will have ALOT of extra cable depending on where you mount the distribution block...what do you drive??....the cable for the back tube went from the back of my truck to about half way up the doors...and if you drive something about the same size or smaller then that will be alot of wire to hide away somewhere, but it will work its up to you

how long did it take to get your new control box?....i sent mine out friday and im trying to get an idea of when to expect it..on another note...if i still have problems with the kit after i get a new control box you will find a topic in the "buy/sell" area for a fusion kit....the fusion kit is the only thing stopping me from slamming my truck(then saving for bags) so if it wont work right then its gone

I haven't gotten my extension cables yet either and I called for them 2 weeks ago. I called them again today and they told me that they were shipped out at the beginning of last week. How long does it take for a couple of measly cables to ship anyway? |

Well, it's been almost a month and 8 phone calls to Plasmaglow and I still don't have my extension cables. Every time I call them they tell me that they should be here any day now. They even told me that they shipped another set but they never showed up either.
It's a conspiracy I tell you. The damn mailman is stockpiling cables and selling them on freakin E-bay. |

sounds like PG isn't quite telling the truth...i'd rather have them tell me the truth that they're lazy bastards (or maybe they're busy as helll or out of stock) then have then repeatedly lie.
they told me my replacement tube and controller (and hopefully extension cables) should be here by "friday or saturday at the latest, if not sooner"...so we'll see |

i just called them and asked when i can expect to get my control box back and the guy told me anyday.....i have a traking number i got fro mthe post office and when i tracked the package it said it was delivered to them at 8:26am on the 17th...well its the 28th and i havent got it back yet..kind of sucks because i want to put the front tube on and switch the sides tubes but there is no point if i dont have the control box to test it with....i sent it to them priority mail 2-3 days...and the guy told me that when they send things back they do regular standard shipping....god forbid do 2-3 day..it only cost me $4.30 to send it to them...they could have spent $4.30 to send it back to me that fast...but he said thier goal is to get the control boxes fixed and then shipped out the day after they get it...

Well, as most of the controllers give some kind of error, PG is replacing them, and this is a LARGE quantity, for all their dealers etc..
So they are very busy fixing the controllers and before last week they even didn't know for sure what was wrong... So give it some weeks and everything will be fine.. |

they use the cheapest shipping possible to send things back so it takes longer since it doesnt cost as much..even though shipping things isnt expensive at all like i said in my last post..its only $4.30 for 2-3 day prioity mail(on the contol box that is)...and with them being a company they may be able to get that for even less
