a while ago i tried to hook up 4 LED's i used a wiring diagram that i found on the SG board but i dont remember whos it was....from looking at the diagram it showed no resistors so i figured that with 4 LED's i dont need resistor....well i wired them all up and hooked them up hit the swtich and they came on...i turned them off to get my digi cam...when i turned them back on the flashed and wont turn back on...i could smell something burning so i know i fried something...but what exactly did i do wrong

haha you AGAIN with the posts!!!! it sounds like you fried them, even though there were 4 it sometimes happens. I'd put a resistor on it just incase, I mean good lord it's a dollar for 5 of them

You probably wired them in parallel instead of in series...
Series should work like this: (12v pos)-Ca-Ca-Ca-Ca-(12v neg) C = cathode a = anode You probably connected all the C's together and all the a's together... Thats bad when trying to do them in series. |

Check out my wiring diagrams in the Diagrams section. Sounds like you wired them in parallel instead of in series.
