I actually googled "Virgin Perry" cause I couldn't figure it out. Didn't get too far, but then I looked again...

Whose head is that? Can't be Gaylord Perry?

Haha, it is in fact Gaylord Perry's bobble head and glove glued to a Virgin Mary statuette. I weird little something some of the guys put together when we were bored in Cali.

You're exactly right. The camp that I'm on is lucky enough to consist mostly of hardened structures. In fact, its really not even that hot (they said it usually snows during the winter in these parts). Maybe we'll have a white christmas!

and YES they are....put it this way...my brother in law has been in the army since he was 18, worked special ops, Delta, CIA and Homeland Security....he is going back to Iraq this upcoming Sat for his 6 or 7th tour...only 6-9 mnths though and hopefully he will get to stay in Kuwait and not in Baghdad....but he is getting out and going back in with a private intel contractor working in Kuwait....and is making an extra 175K for 1 year and 50% is tax free.....

many soldiers will not re-enlist but go to the private sector...same job, less risk, more pay....which is why the armed forces are having issues keeping recruiting and re-enlistment up....

and for your answer....look into Halliburton and some other companies...with the way their tax plans are setup the more money they spend the more they make in the long run...because for every dollar they spend they get more than a dollar back from the US government depending on what service they are offering...and they are doing everything over there from providing chow, doing laundry, body armor to driving trucks and supplies and supplying weapons....you name it....they can do it and ARE doing it...for 250 billion a year or something like that....

Remember....No company ever lost money when we went to war....it always creates new jobs and helps the economy grow....its just part of history that will never change.....war=money

If I had the choice between Kuwait and Baghdad... I'd choose Baghdad. Kuwait is the most God-foresaken place on the face of this earth. No place should ever be that hot. Also, the number one killer of Marines is car accidents INSIDE the U.S. I'm actually safer in Iraq than back home. Just a little food for thought...

Well since I am not a well informed person with knowledge of every helicopter in the world and if it has a "door" or not, Apache was the first word that came to my mind, I was meaning helicopter in general but that's such a *** word to say, Apache is just a kick-ass word.

This is true. Normally I would have let it go, but my brain was like icon_eek.gif and wouldn't let me do anything else. No offence intended, i'm just a huge military Aircraft buff..... now if they'd been playing with a 30mm Chaingun on the floor, I would have been highly impressed.
