Cost me $260 cash, but that it the Bay Area which is too much $$$ for everything. Depends on the car, how many windows, how big, and what kind of curves.
I'd say you could get it as low as $160 or more like $200... |

Well, if you want the back to be limo dark (with limo either being 5 or 20% in most places), then do that. If I was you though, I'd keep the other 4 windows the same percentage. Your car is a dark color, so any tint you put on there will appear darker on your darker car, as opposed to say a white car. 20% is good because it's dark enough on a dark color, and you should still be able to see in enough. If you're worried about the laws though, or anything, 35% will still look plenty dark on your car. If you want the back window really dark, put 5% on it. Just my suggestion.

I don't think it'll look retarded if your back is tinted more than your front. Like I said, my big concern are the side windows. When people look at your car, and you yourself, you don't want different tints on the side windows. The back, in my opinion, wouldn't be that big of a deal. But, I mean, you don't want like 50% on the sides, and 5% on the back...just keep the percentages close.

Q: What are the New Jersey tint laws? A: Basic tint laws for New Jersey are as follow: No after market tint may be applied to front driver and passenger windows. After market tint on rear windows may not cover the 3rd brake light. Windshields may only be tinted 20% down from the top to help avoid sun glare. No mirror tint allowed anywhere on the vehicle. Thats what it says on the site..My cuz lives in jerzy and most of them got 5% limo tint on the windows |

I've seen plenty of cars that don't even have a 3rd brake light.. just remove the *****, or get one in your spoiler if you have a spoiler. That's lame.. not like the 3rd brake light is really needed.
As for tinting the car, my car is 5% all the way around except the windshield which is 35% (yes, I tinted the windshield too *grin*) =) Looks just like the comercial with all blacked out windows. With all of the windows rolled up and the sunroof closed, there is so little light in the car that the windshield looks like it's 5% too. =) Can't see in through the windshield unless one of the other windows are open. As for prices, I had connections, so I got it all done for $100 =) Llumar tint. |
